Psychology, Dr. Bein's primary concern is for the overall wellbeing and improved life satisfaction of his patients.
His specialized training in classical and contemporary psychoanalysis helps to form an understanding of the whole person, and gain insight into the root cause of a disorder. Discovering the origins of problems may help the patient transform suffering into mastery. This method of treatment has the potential to provide symptom relief, strengthen one's self-esteem, sense of identity, and support the capacity to relate to others.
Dr. Bein works with individuals, adults, couples, and adolescents.
He is trained to administer and interpret psychological, neuropsychological and health related tests. Hypnosis is one of Dr. Bein's preferred treatment modalities for pain relief, high blood pressure, anxiety, smoking cessation, obesity, and many other health and emotional issues.
Dr. Bein is a member of the American Psychological Association, the Florida Psychological Association, and has written as a contributing editor to the Southeastern Psychoanalytic Association's publication of
Psyche and Sol.
