Writer's Guidelines
Psychology Information Online will accept scholarly articles devoted to furthering the understanding of issues and problems relevant to the practice of psychology. We are interested in professional
literature reviews regarding differences in treatment modalities and theoretical approaches, the effectiveness of specific treatment approaches for specific problems, comparisons of different treatment approaches
for a specific problem, and the response of specific problems to treatment (specific or general). We are also interested in well-documented theoretical articles concerned with the identification, course, and
response to treatment of newly conceptualized syndromes and psychological problems, or psychological responses to specific social and environmental problems and events. (For example, a theoretical model describing
the various types of clinical and coping responses to school violence). We are also interested in case studies presented to illustrate a theoretical approach or treatment process for a specific psychological
problem.
Professional articles are published under topic headings, as are consumr articles, and the publication procedures and associated costs are identical. Please review the Publication of Consumer Articles for more details.
